Mr. Dieter Liebich is the founder and owner of L.A. Maritime Services Inc. He is a Master Mariner and Mechanical Engineer. With over 30 years of experience in the worldwide maritime business, Mr. Dieter Liebich gained his expertise at sea and during his assignments as Service Technician with New Sulzer Diesel in Switzerland, Service Director of Wartsila NSD Korea and General Manager of Goltens California.
Mr. Robert Schuchardt began his professional career by completing extensive training as a ship mechanic. He subsequently studied marine engineering and nautical sciences in Hamburg. Following his studies, he worked for several years as an engineer on board container and cruise vessels of Hapag Lloyd and Disney. In 2005 Mr. Schuchardt joined L.A. Maritime Services as Vice President. His sound knowledge and leadership is a vital asset to the development and future of the company.

Mr. Hans Haneveld graduated as Maritime Officer at the Shipping and Transportation College Rotterdam. After completing his studies, he spent his formative years as an engineer sailing for various shipping companies of the merchant marine and cruise industry. Since August 2010, Mr. Haneveld took over the position as General Manager for G.C. Maritime Services in Houston, Texas. His engineering expertise and knowledge of the maritime industry has become an integral asset of the management.
Mr. Sven Buck studied Industrial Engineering and is a graduate of the renowned Management Zentrum St. Gallen.
He gained hand on experience at sea and as a Service Technician for Goltens Dubai.
For more than 10 years he worked for Carl Baguhn Hamburg.
Mr. Sven Buck is responsible for the Spare Parts Division of Breakwater International.
Mr. Sascha Sohrabati started his career by completing his apprenticeship as a ship's mechanic. In 2005 he graduated as a Marine Engineer in Flensburg and sailed afterwards on NSB-containerships. 2008 he decided to change to the shore side and worked for NSC as a Superintendent until he joined LA Maritime in Summer 2016. At LA Maritime, Mr. Sohrabati took over the position of the Project Manager for advanced technical systems and is responsible for developing new businesses based on technical solutions.
Mr. Marcel Wagner started his professional career by completing his apprenticeship as a marine structure mechanic. He then sailed for several years on German Navy ships. Further, he gained extensive experience working for German ship yards as a Service Engineer and later as Technical Director of Fassmer Service USA. In 2016 Mr. Wagner took over the position as Managing Director of our Florida branch of Breakwater International. His technical expertise, leadership and knowledge of the maritime industry are essential for our company.
